Personalized, exceptionally high-quality craftsmanship.
Dear Bitcoiners,
my name is Erik Engelmann. In 2017, I purchased my first satoshis. Initially, I experimented with trading, but the complexities of German tax laws made it quite challenging. Over time, I found a more effective strategy by using the Fear And Greed Index to time my investments. I’ve managed to accumulate Sats with an average purchase price of around $25,000.
As I dived deeper into Bitcoin, I gained a wealth of knowledge about the financial system and the unique properties of Bitcoin. This understanding has fueled my strong desire to acquire more Bitcoin ;-)
I work at a small micromechanics workshop, which has given me the opportunity to design and create this unique belt buckle. This accessory was exclusively made for Bitcoin enthusiasts. It is personalized and limited to 21 pieces. The buckle has been meticulously constructed and manufactured using precision machinery. An ingenious adjustment mechanism allows for a stepless adoption of the belt length. This is done discreetly by simply turning the coin. Only high-quality materials have been used. The main body is made from a special aluminum alloy, which is also used in aerospace. It has the mechanical properties of construction steel while being very lightweight. The coin is made from solid brass. This material combination has excellent sliding properties and operates without the need for lubricants. All components have been milled from solid material, meaning there are no inferior cast parts. Just like Bitcoin, this belt is made to last forever.
This belt is offered to you without any predetermined price.
I'd like to leave it to you to decide how many Sats it is worth. The pictures provided speak for the craftsmanship and thoughtfulness that have gone into creating this piece (proof of work, so to speak).
Sorry, but numbers 1 and 2 are reserved for Michael Sailor and Roman Reher. As strong advocates of Bitcoin, they have earned this privilege. Currently, numbers 3 through 21 are still available.
What makes YOU deserving of owning one of these unique belts?
Send me a message—I look forward to hearing from you!
The belt features a sophisticated adjustment mechanism that allows for stepless length adjustments by simply rotating the coin
The spiral shifts the belt pin along its linear guide when the coin is rotated
All components were designed using CAD. Based on these virtual parts, the machining programs for CNC machines were created.
The belt comes from a tannery in the Allgäu region. It is approximately 3 - 3.5 mm thick, cut from a single piece, not pieced together or glued, making it very tear-resistant yet flexible. We will shorten it according to your specifications.
